Oscar-nominated and Emmy Award-winning writer and actor Renée Taylor is currently performing her autobiographical solo play My Life on a Diet at Theatre at St. Clement’s.

In the show, Taylor looks back on a lifetime of memorable roles in Hollywood (The Nanny) and on Broadway (If You Ever Leave Me...I'm Going with You!, It Had to Be You), as well as a number of fad diets (including weight loss tips from Joan Crawford, Marilyn Monroe, Marlon Brando, and Cary Grant).

My Life on a Diet is co-written with and originally directed by Taylor's late husband, Joseph Bologna. The production opened July 25 after beginning previews July 12, and is scheduled to continue through September 2.
