Rain, the Beatles tribute band-theatrical production hybrid, will return to Broadway for a limited engagement in July. The group will present The Best of Abbey Road Live!, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the famed album, July 16–21 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.
The engagement is part of the In Residence on Broadway series taking up the 46th Street venue this summer, joining a lineup that also includes Morrissey (through May 11), Regina Spektor, Yanni, Mel Brooks, and Criss Angel. The series is presented by Live Nation, The Araca Group, and Entertainment Benefits Group.
Rain—A Tribute to the Beatles first played Broadway in 2010, having begun as a California-based band in the ‘70s. Prior to their Broadway bow, the group will tour their Abbey Road, playing Hawaii, California, Colorado, and more.
