Hmmm... mostly I sing from the show I'm going in for, but I'm always excited to sing "Up to the Mountain" or "I Never Has Seen Snow." I am terrible with monologues, but at one time I used a Jack Handy "deep thoughts" as my monologue.

What are some of your most memorable roles as a kid or teenager and how old were you?
Playing Aunt Abbey in my high school's production of Arsenic and Old Lace. I went to town with my old age makeup.

First stage kiss:
It was actually in college doing a scene from The Desert Song in my musical theater class. I was late to the stage kissing experience. I don't think I told anyone, but I bet some of my classmates are reading this now- Hah!

Moment you knew you wanted to perform for a living:
My first bow in my first community theatre show

Pre: anything from Green Symphony. Post: apples and peanut butter at home

Coffee!! I have a variety of vocal warmups, and I try to stretch a little and roll out on my foam roller.

Most challenging role you have ever played:
Elphaba

Craziest audition story:
I was in my final round of auditions for Wicked while I was doing 1776 in Connecticut. I rented a car for a week so I could drive back and forth from CT to NY for my callbacks in the day and shows at night.

What has been the biggest challenge about this project?
Belting in a corset

What has been the most fun or fulfilling aspect?
This cast is pretty cool! Such an interesting mix of folks and they're awesome.

What was your relationship with Wildhorn's work beforehand?
I saw the national tour of The Scarlet Pimpernel and LOVED it! I had pretty much the whole score memorized.

Worst flubbed line/missed cue/onstage mishap:
When I did Pippin, we had some aerial silk choreography for the "With You" number. I had a silk hammock and I would walk on stage with it draped around me and then clip it into this pick that would fly in on stage and then fly Pippin and myself up, and we would do our aerial choreography. One night right before I enter, the pick gets stuck and cannot fly in. So I enter without my silk. Pippin has no idea because he's been singing his song. I have no idea what to do so I just make up a terrible interpretive dance with him that was very similar to the Romy and Michelle's "Time After Time" dance. I. Was. Mortified.

Worst costume ever:
It was a beautiful gown, but running all over stage and up and down stairs in Elphaba's second act gown was a challenge!

Worst job you ever had:
Working the front desk of a law firm. Just long and slow.

If you could trade roles with anyone in the cast for a week, who would it be?
David Benoit. He gets to take an onstage nap for the first 15 min of the second act!

Leading lady role you've been dying to play:
Queenie in The Wild Party and Dot in Sunday in the Park with George.

Hedwig and Sweeney Todd

I burp a lot.
