The comic soap opera is about two sisters in a socially prominent New York family. NBC Universal TV Studio is producing the pilot, which is directed by the veteran comedy director James Burrows ("Friends," "Cheers").
Richardson won a Tony for playing Sally Bowles in Cabaret and received nominations for A Streetcar Named Desire and Anna Christie. She also appeared on Broadway in Closer and in London in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hamlet, The Seagull, High Society, Anna Christie and Lady From the Sea.
Her television credits include “Ghosts” (BBC), “Suddenly Last Summer” (BBC), “Zelda” (TNT) and “Haven” (CBS). Her film credits include "Maid in Manhattan," "Asylum," "Nell" and "The Handmaid's Tale."
