Marcia Gay Harden received an Academy Award March 25 for her performance as artist Lee Krasner in the bio-pic, "Pollock." Harden is well remembered as a member of the original Broadway cast of Tony Kushner's epic, Angels in America. The most high profile Oscar nominee from the theatre world this year was dramatist Kenneth Lonergan, whose new play Lobby Hero was recently extended for a second time at Playwrights Horizons. He received the nod for his original screenplay to the film "You Can Count on Me," but lost out on the award to Cameron Crowe for "Almost Famous."
