Hodgson has been an MTC board member for more than 15 years, most recently serving as chairman of the MTC executive committee. He is managing director of General Atlantic LLC, and head of the board of the Echoing Green Foundation.
Bethany Millard has been named the new president and chairman of MTC's executive committee. In addition to her work on the MTC board, Millard is chairman of the Kaufman Cultural Center and a member of the board of New York Public Radio.
In addition, W. Gregg Slager, Transaction Advisory Services Partner for Ernst & Young, has been named treasurer of the MTC board.
On other institutional staffing news, MTC announced that following an extensive search, Lynne Randall has been named the theatre's new director of development. Randall comes to MTC from the New York Philharmonic where she was most recently director of corporate sponsorship and institutional giving.
Solomon has served as MTC's chairman for 12 years and for more than 75 productions. Solomon is the founder and chairman of the Peter J. Solomon Company and former Deputy Mayor of Economic Policy and Development in New York City under Mayor Edward I. Koch. Solomon's numerous accomplishments as chairman include guiding MTC's $35 million dollar capital campaign to acquire and restore the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. MTC is under the leadership of artistic director Lynne Meadow and executive producer Barry Grove.
