News Life of Haila Stoddard, Broadway Actress and Producer, To Be Celebrated in Connecticut Tony Award nominee Haila Stoddard will be remembered by her family, friends and theatrical family June 12 at Connecticut's White Barn Theatre on the campus of the Friends School.

The memorial will begin at 2 PM with family and friends sharing stories and reminiscing on her career that transitioned from Broadway actress to theatrical producer. Following, there will be a champagne toast in her honor.

Stoddard received a Tony Award nomination in 1962 for her work as producer on Noel Coward's Sail Away. As an actress, she performed in a wide variety of Broadway plays including I Know What I Like, Kindred, Suzanna and the Elders, The Moon Vine and Springtime for Henry.

Stoddard died at her home in Weston, CT on Feb. 21, from cardiopulmonary arrest. She was 97.

The White Barn Theatre on the campus of the Friends School is located at 440 Newtown Ave., Norwalk, CT.
