Laurie Davidson, star of TNT’s short-lived Shakespeare-themed drama Will, has been tapped to appear in the upcoming big screen adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber and T.S. Eliot's Cats.
According to Deadline, the actor (whose role has yet to be revealed) is the latest to join a roster that includes the previously announced Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, James Corden, and Ian McKellen.

The LAMDA grad's additional screen credits include BBC Two movie Diana and I and the upcoming Bill Condon-helmed The Good Liar, starring McKellen, Helen Mirren, and Russell Tovey.
The Universal/Working Title movie, directed by Tom Hooper (Les Misérables, The King’s Speech) is slated to begin production in November, with a release date set for December 20, 2019.
