Jessica Vosk, who played Elphaba in the national tour of Wicked, reprises the role on Broadway beginning July 16 at the Gershwin Theatre as the hit musical approaches its 15th anniversary on Broadway.
Vosk, also seen on Broadway in Fiddler on the Roof, Finding Neverland, and The Bridges of Madison County, succeeds Jackie Burns, who played her final performance July 14.
Vosk is reunited with Amanda Jane Cooper, who played Glinda on tour and previously joined the Broadway company.
Also joining the cast July 16 is former ensemble member and understudy Curt Hansen, who takes over from Ashley Parker Angel as Fiyero.
Since opening in 2003, Wicked has been performed in over 100 cities around the world. The musical, which recently became the sixth longest-running production in Broadway history, has amassed over $4.5 billion in global sales and has been seen by over 55 million people worldwide.

The Broadway production also currently stars Isabel Keating as Madame Morrible, Kevin Chamberlin as The Wizard, Jye Frasca as Boq, Kristen Martin as Nessarose, and Martin Moran as Dr. Dillamond.
Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked has a score by Stephen Schwartz, a book by Winnie Holzman, and direction by Joe Mantello with musical staging by Wayne Cilento.
