Six-time Tony Award nominee Danny Burstein (Fiddler on the Roof, Follies, South Pacific) and the writers and creative team of the new Broadway a cappella musical In Transit are the latest talents announced for BroadwayCon 2017.
BroadwayCon, the theatrical gathering that brings fans together alongside Broadway’s biggest talents, returns January 27-29, 2017, with an expanded slate of programming.
Co-presented by Playbill, Mischief Management and Anthony Rapp, the one-of-a-kind weekend includes panels, performances, one-on-one star moments, seminars, autograph and photo sessions, a booming Marketplace and other activities.
The In Transit panel will take place January 28, with director Kathleen Marshall, writers Kristen Anderson-Lopez, James Allen-Ford, Russ Kaplan and Sara Woodsworth, along with cast member James Snyder and music supervisor Rick Hip-Flores.
Dozens of Broadway stars—with many more to come—have already been announced. Among them are Josh Groban and the cast of Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, who will appear in a special MainStage panel at BroadwayCon.
