The new book includes 74 original monologues for male and female actors as well as performance notes and advice for auditioning in the professional world. Daley and Halston will perform selections from and speak about their collaboration on "Monologues…" from 6:30-8 PM.
"There's a window of opportunity at your audition to dig in fast and show personality," Daley said in a statement. "It's important to establish the scene from the moment the actor speaks. Bold choices are built in. All the elements that help you pop."
Known for her spot-on comic timing, Halston has appeared in many of Charles Busch's comedies as well as Broadway's Gypsy, Hairspray and The Women. Playwright Donna Daley has penned The Misconception of Iggy, Deeply Shallow and co-authored Mama Drama.
