The fifth annual Tomatoes Got Talent contest, celebrating the talents of women over 40 who are not working professionals in the entertainment industry, will take place April 9 at 7 PM at The Triad Theatre, 158 West 72nd Street.
Randie Levine-Miller, who co-produces with Cheryl Benton, will host. Judges will include lyricist and actor Gretchen Cryer (I’m Getting My Act Together and Taking It on the Road), producer, director, and actor Jana Robbins (currently in Off-Broadway’s This One’s for the Girls), and Laila Robins, who stars on ABC’s new series Deception.
Competitors include Nicole Morris, Maggie Determann, Jeanine Robinson, Sheree Sano, Lee Ann Brill, Janice McCune, Candace Leeds, Barbara Malley, Roe Piccoli, Kati Neiheisel, Alicia Moss, and Renee Katz.
The evening will also feature vocalist and three-time Tony-nominated educator Corinna Sowers Adler as well as the contest’s four previous winners: Karen Nason, Susan Vardy, Kathy Waters, and Teresa Fischer. The musical director is Jimmy Horan.

This year’s winner will join previous winners Nason, Vardy, Waters, and Fischer June 21 at 7 PM (also at The Triad) for Tomato Diva Showstoppers to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
