The new revival of Hello, Dolly!, starring Bette Midler in her highly anticipated return to Broadway, begins performances at the Shubert Theatre March 15. On the eve of the first preview, the production has revealed a first look at the screen legend in the title role.

The production, directed by Jerry Zaks and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, will open officially April 20. In addition to Midler, the cast includes Tony winner David Hyde Pierce as Horace Vandergelder, Kate Baldwin as Irene Molloy, Gavin Creel as Cornelius Hackl, Beanie Feldstein as Minnie Fay, Will Burton as Ambrose Kemper, Melanie Moore as Ermengarde, Jennifer Simard as Ernestina, and Taylor Trensch as Barnaby Tucker.
The revival, produced by Scott Rudin, has broken the record for the highest pre-performance box-office advance in Broadway history.
