Performances began June 19 for the New York premiere of Mary Page Marlowe, a new play by Tony- and Pulitzer-winning playwright and actor Tracy Letts, which pieces together a portrait of a woman from 11 key moments in her life—told out of chronological order, and portrayed by six different actors.
The title role in the Off-Broadway production from Second Stage Theater is shared by Blair Brown, Emma Geer, Tatiana Maslany, Susan Pourfar, Mia Sinclair Jenness, and Kellie Overbey.
Mary Page Marlowe is directed by Drama Desk Award-winning director Lila Neugebauer and is playing at 2ST’s Tony Kiser Theater. The Off-Broadway play will officially open July 12.
The 2ST production features scenic design by Laura Jellinek, costume design by Kaye Voyce, lighting design by Tyler Micoleau, sound design by Brandon Wolcott, and casting by Telsey + Company.
