Chris McCarrell (Les Miserables, Peter Pan Live, The OA) stars in a new version of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical this March at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. The show, which had been touring the country, features an updated score, expanded script, a larger cast, and a live band.
Adapted from the book of the same name by Rick Riordan, The Lightning Thief is written by Joe Tracz (Series of Unfortunate Events) and Rob Rokicki (Strange Tails), with direction by Stephen Brackett (Buyer and Cellar). The show officially opened April 4. The limited engagement is scheduled to run through May 6.
