The Mad Ones star Krystina Alabado, Miss Saigon’s Devin Ilaw, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory cast member F. Michael Haynie have joined the cast of the February 1 benefit concert staging of the Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Next to Normal.
The production will star Tony nominee Christiane Noll as Diana, alongside Darius de Haas as Dan, and two-time Tony Award nominee Brandon Uranowitz as The Doctors. Alabado will play Natalie, with Ilaw as Gabe, and Haynie replacing the previously announced George Salazar as Henry.

Daniella Caggiano will direct the 7 PM concert that will be held at the JCC Manhattan (334 Amsterdam Avenue). Janet Noh will music direct.
The concert is presented by Quintessence of Dust Theatre Company/Rachel Kunstadt as a benefit for the JED Foundation, a nonprofit that exists to protect emotional health and prevent suicide for teens and young adults.
Tom Kitt (music) and Brian Yorkey (book/lyrics) penned the rock musical, about a mother battling depression and bi-polar disorder, which also delves into prescription drug abuse, suicide, grief, and the breakdown of an American family.
General admission tickets, priced $80, are now on sale. VIP tickets (with assigned prime seating and a post-show reception) are available for $150. All proceeds benefit The JED Foundation. Click here to purchase.
