Oscar winner and Broadway alum Cuba Gooding Jr. will make his U.K. stage debut in the London return of Chicago. He'll take on the role Billy Flynn in the West End revival, which begins performances March 26 at the Phoenix Theatre.
Additional casting for the London company will be announced at a later time.

Gooding Jr., an Oscar winner for Jerry Maguire, made his Broadway debut in 2013 in the revival of The Trip to Bountiful. He earned an Emmy nomination in 2016 for playing O.J. Simpson in the debut season of American Crime Story.
The Walter Bobbie-helmed production of the Kander and Ebb musical first came to London in 1997 and went on to play 15 years, making it the longest-running West End revival. The New York production, currently at the Ambassador Theatre, is the longest-running American musical on Broadway.
