Tony nominee Josh Young and Broadway favorite Emily Padgett married June 3 in a rainy summer ceremony surrounded by family and friends.
Young proposed to Padgett in Bermuda back in 2017.
Padgett most recently appeared on Broadway as Mrs. Bucket in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Prior to that she originated the role of Lucy Grant in Broadway’s Bright Star, starred as Daisy Hilton in the revival of Side Show, and appeared in Rock of Ages, Grease, and Legally Blonde. She recently took part in early readings for the new musical Dangerous alongside Lesli Margherita and George Abud.
Young earned a Tony nomination in 2012 for his Broadway debut as Judas in the revival of Jesus Christ Superstar. He most recently appeared on Broadway in Amazing Grace.
