Stage to Page BroadwayCon First Look Lines Up Bandstand, Come From Away, and Significant Other Fans will get an exclusive preview of the new shows in store for the Broadway spring season.

Three more shows have been announced to take part in the BroadwayCon First Look showcase, which gives theatre fans an exclusive sneak peek at the season’s upcoming shows. Set to take place January 29, 2017, the BroadwayCon First Look features musical performances and in-depth discussions with the casts and creative teams.

Joining the First Look lineup are the musicals Bandstand and Come From Away, as well as the timely new play Significant Other. The program will also showcase the previously announced musical Anastasia.

Representing the Swing-era musical Bandstand will be the show’s co-stars, Laura Osnes and Corey Cott, as well as director-choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler, who is hot off his Tony win for Hamilton.

Currently confirmed for Come From Away, a new musical that tells the story of travelers stranded on September 11, 2001, are cast member Jenn Colella and musical supervisor Ian Eisendrath.

Significant Other, the new Joshua Harmon play about New York City twenty-somethings, will feature cast members Gideon Glick, Lindsay Mendez, Barbara Barrie, Sas Goldberg, and Rebecca Naomi Jones, as well as playwright Harmon, and director Trip Cullman.

The First Look presentation also includes a look at the expanded and re-envisioned stage adaptation of the 1997 animated film Anastasia. Christy Altomare and Derek Klena, who star as Anya and Dmitry, respectively, will preview musical moments from the Ahrens and Flaherty musical.

A $250 full-weekend general pass will provide access to all BroadwayCon programming (panels, performances, keynotes, discussions, and more), as well as guaranteed seating at MainStage events and special guest autograph and photo opportunities.
