Off-Broadway News Brad Oscar, Alan H. Green, and More to Join Annie Golden in Broadway Bounty Hunter Off-Broadway The New York premiere of the Joe Iconis musical, directed and choreographed by Jennifer Werner, finds its cast.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory's Alan H. Green and Tony Award nominee Brad Oscar (Something Rotten!) will be among those joining Annie Golden in the upcoming Off-Broadway production of Joe Iconis' Broadway Bounty Hunter. As previously announced, the musical comedy from the Be More Chill composer will debut in New York City this summer following a world premiere at Barrington Stage Company in 2016.

Broadway Bounty Hunter will begin performances July 9 at Greenwich House Theater, where it will officially open July 23. The musical, which is directed and choreographed by Jennifer Werner, features music and lyrics by Iconis and a book by Iconis, Lance Rubin (Denton Little's Deathdate), and Jason SweetTooth Williams (Be More Chill actor).

Rounding out the cast Off-Broadway will be Emily Borromeo (School of Rock) as Shiro Jin; Badia Farha (School of Rock) as Sienna; Jasmine Forsberg (Love In Hate Nation at Penn State) as Cortnie/Indigo; Omar Garibay (Ghost the Musical) as Spark Plug/Director; Jared Joseph (Holler if Ya Hear Me) as Felipe; Christina Sajous (SpongeBob SquarePants) as Claudine Machine/Janessa; and Emilie Battle (Dear Evan Hansen at Second Stage) as swing. Green will play Lazarus and Oscar will play Mac Roundtree.

Broadway veteran Anne L. Nathan (Once, Sunday in the Park with George) will perform the title role at Saturday matinee performances.

Inspired by the exploitation films of the 1970s, like Shaft or Enter the Dragon, Broadway Bounty Hunter follows a 60-year-old, down-on-her-luck actor named Annie (Golden), who is asked to become a bounty hunter and capture a South American drug lord.

The creative team includes scenic designer Michael Schweikardt (Rags at Goodspeed), Tony Award-winning lighting designers Jules Fisher and Peggy Eisenhauer (Assassins, Ragtime, Once on this Island), costume and wig designer Sarafina Bush (Gettin’ The Band Back Together, associate), projection designer Brad Peterson (Junk, Oslo, Cats), sound designer Cody Spencer (Here Lies Love), music supervisor and orchestrator Charlie Rosen (Be More Chill), vocal arranger Joel Waggoner (Presto Change-o composer), music director Geoffrey Ko (Be More Chill, associate), and artistic consultant Nehemiah Luckett.

Production management is by Tinc Productions; the stage manager is E. Sara Barnes, and the general manager is KGM Theatrical.
