The upcoming Bette Midler Broadway revival of the musical Hello, Dolly! announced that it is adding two matinee performances to accommodate strong ticket demand this spring.
Producer Scott Rudin announced that he will add 2 PM matinees on March 29 and April 12.
The catch: as a production spokesperson termed it: “The best seats for these added performances will be made available for purchase exclusively in-person at the Shubert Theatre box office (225 West 44th Street) this Thursday, January 12. The box office will open promptly at 10 AM and tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.”
Hello, Dolly! is scheduled to being performances March 15, with an official opening night of April 20.
The revival of Michael Stewart and Jerry Herman’s Tony Award-winner is being directed by four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks and choreographed by Tony Award winner Warren Carlyle.
Tickets for all other performances have been on sale since September 2016 via Telecharge.com.
