Barbra Streisand’s most recent concert engagement, Barbra: The Music ... The Mem'ries ... The Magic!, will premiere on Netflix November 22.
The tour, which played 13 cities and was seen by 177,524 concertgoers, was directed by Streisand and Richard Jay-Alexander with musical direction by conductor Randy Waldman.
Filmed in Miami, the last stop in her 2016 tour, the tour coincided with the release of her latest album, ENCORE: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, which featured the multi-hyphenate artist dueting with stars such as Anne Hathaway, Jamie Foxx, Patrick Wilson, Hugh Jackman, and others.
Netflix has not revealed whether it will air an edited version, or the entire Miami concert, which featured some 26 songs, among them “Being Alive” from Company, “Children Will Listen” from Into the Woods, “Losing My Mind” from Follies, as well as such favorites as “Don’t Rain on My Parade” from Funny Girl, “Papa, Can You Hear Me?” from Yentl, as well as “Enough Is Enough,” “Woman in Love,” “Evergreen,” and “Happy Days Are Here Again.”
The Miami concerts also featured special guests Jamie Foxx dueting on The Sound of Music classic “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” and Patrick Wilson joining Streisand for “Loving You” from Passion.
