After designing magic quick-changes and poodle skirts for Fox’s Grease: Live and glam rock looks for The Rocky Horror Picture Show reboot, Tony-winning costume designer William Ivey Long returns to the screen to design Fox's A Christmas Story Live!.

A Christmas Story Live! stars two-time Tony winner Matthew Broderick as the narrator and the grown-up version of Ralphie Parker, alongside Emmy nominee Maya Rudolph (Saturday Night Live) as Mrs. Parker and Andy Walken as Ralphie. The all-star cast also features Tony winner Jane Krakowski, Ana Gasteyer, and David Alan Grier.
Tony and Oscar winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dear Evan Hansen, La La Land) wrote several new songs for the live television event to supplement their musical’s original score. Eight-time Tony nominee Scott Ellis directs while Alex Rudzinski (an Emmy winner for Grease: Live) will serve as live television director. Both are also executive producers.
