DESCRIPTION

Two River Theater, a mid-sized professional LORT theater, located in Red Bank, NJ, is seeking a Wardrobe Runner for its upcoming production of American Mariachi. Candidate will assist the Wardrobe Team in costume prep for tech rehearsals and performances and work with the team to maintain all costume looks. Main responsibilities include: arrange costumes in order of use to facilitate quick-change procedures for performances; create paperwork for dressing lists, show notes, or costume checks; adhere to labeling system for wardrobe; maintain wardrobe tools and equipment and communicate with the wardrobe supervisor when anything breaks/needs replacement/repair; clean, press, and steam costumes before and after performances and perform any repairs; collaborate with costume designers, production staff, and stage management throughout the run of the show; other duties as assigned. Candidate must be a hard worker with a positive attitude, good communication skills, and be able to perform well under pressure. Contract dates are September 20, 2024 through October 21, 2024.

Compensation: Compensation includes $22 per hour for a 40-hour work week. This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay after 40 hours at a time and a half rate of $33.00. Local housing in hotel or apartment provided if needed.
