Viterbo University's Theatre and Music Theatre Department, a vibrant, rigorous BFA/BA program with 90 active majors, invites applications for a visiting guest instructor in Theatre/Music Theatre. Instructor will teach Advanced Music Theatre Scene Study, Music Theatre Performance (Lab), and Acting II Scene Study. Additional courses could include Music Theatre History and Literature, Introduction to Directing, and Senior Showcase (depending on specialty areas of experience and interest).
Qualifications: MFA (or BA/BFA with professional equivalency), strong musical skills, teaching experience, and the ability to work collaboratively required. Preference given to candidates with significant national/regional performance experience.
Appointment and Salary: Visiting guest instructor with a five-month appointment beginning January 2021 thru May 2021. Salary is competitive with other similar institutions. Housing provided for non-local candidates.
