Position: Teaching Artist – Acting & Voice

Location: West New York, NJ (In-person & virtual)
Job Type: Part-Time
Start Date: September 2025

MJK Studio provides high-quality voice, acting, and industry prep training for young performers. The studio is expanding and looking for passionate, experienced teaching artists to join the team and help shape the next generation of performers.

Responsibilities:

• Teach acting and/or voice lessons to children and teens

• Lead classes, workshops, or rehearsals in a creative and engaging way

• Communicate with parents and studio staff

• Occasionally assist with studio showcases or performances

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of teaching or directing experience with children and teens

• Performance experience in voice and/or acting

• Must be professional, dependable, and enthusiastic

• Must live within commuting distance to West New York, NJ (accessible by bus, ferry, light rail, or car)

Schedule:

• Weekdays, 4:00–8:00 PM

• Flexible schedule (3 days/week minimum)

• Occasional weekends

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate
