CHRISTMAS IN THE AIR – TOUR 2024

Rand Productions is seeking a TOUR EXPERIENCED TD / (light) borad operator for our 15-city tour!

TOUR EXPERIENCE IS A MUST. Non-Union

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE a positive/problem solving attitude; embody professionalism & patience, and simply love being on the road with a great show & cast.

Duties to include, but not be limited to:

• Work with Producer/Director, Associate Producer, techincal team and show management team as necessary.
• Advance all buildings (with the show LD), and interface with all building TDs/Tech Departments as necessary.
  • The show's LD will advance lighting inventory and design/program our console. The applicant would take the show from opening night through closing night.
  • Identify any venue limitations (e.g., some venues may not have fly space, so we’ll need to confirm how to handle those buildings) and problem solve with the Rand management team.
• Support the LD as necessary / where applicable
  • The Producer can provide full archive show vid for reference.
• In addition to operating the light console, the TD will be required to “call” the shows live (spots, stage, audio, etc.)
• In each location, the TD will be responisble for patching/cloning/adjusting lighting, and ‘all things technical’, per venue.
  • The show may run on Q-lab – Details TBD.
• Manage all on-site/local crew for load-in/out.
• Share driving of a 26’ Box truck (e.g., Ryder, Uhaul, etc.) and/or 15-passenger van (on the tour with A1 and Tour Management). Travel days range from 2hrs – 8hrs.

Travel
- Inbound [on/about] Nov 30th / Outbound - [on/about] Dec 22 (Home for Christmas!)

Tech Rehearsals:
- Dec 2nd & 3nd, 2024 (Elkhart, IN)

Performances:
- Dec 4th - 21st

Provisions: All travel, all hotel nights on tour (Holiday Inn Express-level hotels)/double occupancy, best efforts to choose hotels with laundry facilities inside and 1 free meal. Some locations provide 2-3 meals.

$3,600.00 – $4,500.00 per gig
