DESCRIPTION

Festival 56, a professional non-equity summer theater in Princeton, Illinois (2 hours southwest of Chicago) is now accepting resumes and portfolios for the following positions for their 2026 summer season:

• Directors

• Choreographers

• Music Directors

• Production Stage Manager

• Technical Director

• Assistant Stage Managers

• Scenic Designers / Painters / Carpenters

• Sound Designers

• Lighting Designers

• Costume Shop Manager

• Costume technicians

Period of employment: June 5 to August 11 (employment period may vary depending on role).

Season includes:

• The Comedy of Errors

• Ring of Fire

• You Can’t Take It With You

• The Bridges of Madison County

• Anastasia

Stipends range $1,200 - $3,600 for length of contract, depending on role.

Housing provided.

Travel reimbursement up to $250.
