Tinc Productions, a theatrical and event production management company in New York City, is seeking Associate Productions Managers immediately for NYC commercial Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.

A Tinc Associate Production Manager thrives on taking care of things the right way, the first time. As an advocate for our clients, you are protective of their visions, budgets, and reputations. You lead by example, modeling flexibility and an open mind while remaining diligent about safety. You are a proactive participant in all steps of the production process, building relationships and seeking solutions, and stepping forward or walking alongside our colleagues as needed.

Job Expectations:

· Work with the Production Manager and Production Supervisor to build and manage physical production budgets and production calendars.

· Plan, facilitate, and follow up on design discussions, production meetings, site surveys, and shop visits.

· Foster an environment which is team-oriented and in which the contribution and exchange of ideas among staff is welcome.

· Coordinate with our vendors on rental quotes and orders, and confirm delivery and pick up times.

· Work with Tinc Manager of Labor Services to book crews on various calls, with considerations for particular skills, the requirements of the gig, and the alchemy of a good team.

· Work with Tinc Management to provide detailed plans and procedures to ensure safety on site.

· While on site, create and maintain a calm and professional atmosphere for our clients and employees.

· Complete thorough reconciliations and archives.

· Collect feedback about processes and work with Tinc Management to continuously improve communication and better solve problems.

Job Requirements:

All candidates should possess a thorough working knowledge of technical theatre, including scenic, lighting, costumes, props, audio/video, and effects as well as familiarity with OSHA regulations and theatrical industry safety and best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills; the ability to work as a team member; and a professional demeanor with comfort in high-pressure situations.

Applicants must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed. Associates should have 2-5 years experience in theatre and management.

Experience is important, but a positive attitude is paramount. We’re looking for individuals that are known for keeping calm and positive, with a compassionate focus and a commitment to collaboration.

Salary is paid weekly with salary between $950 and $1,150 depending on production contract, duration and experience. Benefits for long term employees shall include health, dental and vision insurance as well as access to the CoAdvantage employee perks programs through our PEO partner.
