The Golden Gays LLC is looking for performers for all roles. Looking for their holiday drag musical: Thank YULE For Being A Friend, and all future projects.

ABOUT THE COMPANY:
The Golden Gays™ are an international drag theatre troupe who perform four different musicals in repertory. They are looking for drag-character-actor superstars to join their booked and blessed holiday tour this November and December, along with future upcoming tours.

ABOUT THE SHOW:

‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the store, each department was dripping with Yuletide decor. Sophia was nestled all snug in her bed, while visions of sugar prunes danced in her head.

Before traveling to spend the Holidays with their families, Dorothy, Blanche, and Rose participate in a golden gift exchange full of hilarious surprises. Just as they get to the airport a winter storm blows in, leaving them trapped! In an unexpected Charles Dickens twist of events, the three grannies must visit their past, present, and future to save Christmas (and find Sophia)…just in time for turkey lurkey.

THE CHARACTERS: The Blanche, The Dorothy, & The Rose (drag, but not-too-drag versions of the beloved Golden Girls characters); Characters sing comedic and pop diva songs, along with group numbers. 3 part harmony and a great ear are a must.

PLEASE SUBMIT: self tape of 16 bars of a comedic song, headshot and resume, casting may be done based on digital submissions. Actors from San Diego are highly encouraged.

Rehearsals will be held in NYC and Philadelphia before heading out on tour across the US.
Housing and travel will be provided; will include flights, drives, and trains.

SALARY

$150.00 – $200.00 per show
