The REV on Tour is seeking Asian actors for their production of The Magic Paintbrush. This is a 4-person, non-musical adaptation of the classic Chinese folktale.

The REV on Tour is one of the largest in-school tours of its kind. Annually, about 60,000 students throughout New York State receive performances and workshops from our company of professional actors. These performances and workshops are tailored and crafted to meet the specific needs at each grade level, and they happen directly in the school building. We have a long-standing tradition of excellence, and are committed to providing access to high quality theatrical experiences for every child in NYS.

The tour will depart from Auburn NY daily. Housing in Auburn is provided as part of the compensation. All REV on Tour company members must have a clean, valid driver's license to be considered for employment. All actors assist with setting up and taking down the set at each performance site, leading pre-performance workshops, as well as driving the company vehicle. Performances typically happen directly in school buildings during regular school hours. Typically you are doing two shows a day, Monday through Friday. Evenings and weekends typically are off once rehearsals have completed.
