JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a critical member of the stage management team, the Stage Manager collaborates with all Artistic Staff, Performers, General Management, and Production personnel in developmental production.

Safety is a key responsibility while we are in the rehearsal room. Strong communications skills and the ability to remain calm in stressful conditions are required. Assist in managing rehearsal rooms during the original rehearsals. Adhere and apply all AEA rules and Company policies. Create and maintain both presets and running lists for presentations. Collaborate with creative team and management on safe and efficient layout of the rehearsal spaces. Create Rehearsal Reports, Show Reports and other reporting documents as required. Other Stage Management duties as assigned.

ABOUT US:

Muriel’s Wedding, a musical adaptation of the 1994 movie, tells the story of Muriel, a socially awkward young woman who spends her time listening to ABBA songs and perpetually daydreams of a glamorous wedding to get out of her dead-end town and away from her domineering father, a corrupt politician who constantly belittles his wife and five children.
