Ma-Yi’s production of The Chinese Lady performing in the Shiva Theater at The Public. We are seeking an experienced Audio/ Video Lead to join the team: specifically to provide leadership in the load-in, tech, and strike of a basic audio plot and projector system. In collaboration with the Production Manager and Technical Director, The Production Audio/ Video person will work closely with the Sound Designer and Projection Designer to carry out their designs. In addition to assisting with the bid process for rental gear, the A/V Lead will also be responsible for creating plans for and the bidding out the com and paging system for tech and run of show.
A successful candidate possesses a safety mindset, is NYC-based, and has at least two years experience in theatrical audio/ video work for Off Broadway productions. Prior working relationships with audio/ video rental shops in the NYC-Metro area is a plus.
