Hook & Eye Theater is an ensemble based theater company that devises new work from scratch using a variety of sources, improv, movement and imagination. Hook & Eye's new play, PLAN C is premiering as a Core Production at The Tank in March/April 2026 (pertinent details below).

About the Piece:
PLAN C is a new work devised and co-authored by the ensemble. We’ve been collaborating as an ensemble for over 10 years, and this will be our fifth fully staged production. PLAN C weaves together two timelines: one set in 1620's Brussels, where a postmistress secretly runs an espionage network during the Thirty Years’ War, and one in present-day West Virginia, where a college student covertly distributes contraband through her family’s general store. Across centuries, it’s a darkly funny story about secrecy, survival, and the power of networks.

Role(s): Double Cast - SEEKING MALE ACTORS OF COLOR, Age Range 28 - 40

BALTHAZAR (1621) - Verbose, Quick-witted, Loves his own voice, power-hungry, in love with his wife, capable of violence

PEP-BOY EMPLOYEE (Present day), we think his name is Anthony, but you will decide! A go-getter, upstanding member in the community, knows a little bit about everybody, and loves his job.

Rehearsals begin: February 9, 2026 (Mon - Thurs weeknights, Fridays OFF, Sat & Sun 10am - 6pm)

Remuneration: $3,500
