This workshop will begin with an acting intensive focused on honing the actors’ skills in performance techniques and script analysis (first three weeks) followed by a workshop component (second three weeks) that will utilize the actors in workshopping new material as well as preparing one audition piece of the actors choice.
Class sizes are limited to 10 actors per class with two class options.

This workshop is intended for adults, ages 18+, all ages, genders, racial backgrounds are encouraged to join us. Students under 18 years of age will be considered on a case by case basis.
!!! A one night no cost preliminary workshop session will be held on December 8, 6:00pm-7:00pm for a 1 hour introductory session explaining what we will cover for the workshop. Actors do not need to prepare anything. They should just come prepared to do some acting exercises.

Jupityr Shaw Bio-
As an artist and creator Jupityr’s career has covered multiple decades. His work has spanned multiple countries and continents as well as multiple disciplines. He has worked as a performer, choreographer, writer, director, artistic director and board member as well as an Educator. Jupityr has attended multiple higher education institutions including Brigham Young University, the University of Utah and Los Angeles City College and holds degrees and certificates in Dance, Acting and Business, with emphasis in pedagogy and teaching practices as well as choreography and storytelling. Jupityr also has an extensive education background having taught at BYU, Snow College and multiple public and charter K-12 schools across the country.
Jupityr has been a prolific artist with his works being performed around the globe and featured on many companies around the world. His current work on a new musical, working title A-A-Ronicus, is a coming of age story set in ancient Greece but with modern day themes dealing with a hero training program and one young hero's struggle to fit into the program that is forcing him to be someone he is not.
Jupityr is thrilled to be hosting this upcoming workshop to dive deeply into these newest characters and this material. He is seeking artists who are ready to dig deep into their artistic well to learn and grow together.
