Mint Theater Company is seeking a motivated and mission-aligned Marketing Associate to support its marketing initiatives, promote the company’s work, and drive ticket sales. The position reports to the Associate Producer and will collaborate closely with the Producing Artistic Director and external vendors, including a marketing consultant. This role is part time, starting at 16 hours a week, with hours possibly increasing leading up to and during production runs. The position is fully remote.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
-In collaboration with the marketing consultant, devising and implementing marketing campaigns to support Mint Theater productions, including managing timelines and tracking marketing budgets
-Creating content for and managing social media channels
-Managing content for the website
-Coordinating and compiling email marketing and direct mail efforts
-Coordinating audience engagement events
-Briefing and coordinating campaigns with an external digital agency
-Booking other paid advertising as needed
-Liaising with venue marketing and ticketing contacts to coordinate marketing efforts
-Coordinating with third party ticketing outlets
-Managing community outreach and cross promotional efforts

-Experience in marketing, social media, digital marketing, performing arts administration, or a related field (Internships count!)
-Experience managing social media platforms, websites, and/or digital analytics with a track record of growing audiences

-Organized, timely, responsive, and responsible, with close attention to detail
-Ability to prioritize tasks and projects and comfortable asking for clarity as needed
-Demonstrated ability to work both independently in execution and cooperatively in collaboration and strategy
-Dedicated to promoting Mint Theater Company’s mission

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Receptive to feedback, with proactive problem-solving skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, WordPress, eMarketing platforms (MailChimp), and basic HTML
-Proficiency in social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
-Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, or Canva a plus
-Experience managing a external vendors a plus

Mint Theater’s staff is currently working remotely. This role will begin as early as January 3, 2023 with expectations to work a minimum of 16 hours per week, with anticipated additional hours during production runs.
