STAGE MANAGER (Local Candidates)
The Laguna Playhouse is seeking local Equity Production Stage Managers for the 2020-2021 season. The Playhouse is a LORT C-2 regional theatre located in Laguna Beach. Local residence must be within a 50-mile radius of the Playhouse (determined by the address on file with Equity.)
This is an Actors’ Equity Association (AEA) stage management position. All elements of this position will be in accordance with the appropriate AEA contract and rules. The Stage Manager works directly with the Production Manager to schedule meetings and other events needed to complete the production process. Additionally, this position (along with the Production Manager), monitors all Equity actions and, with the Production Manager, maintains compliance with the AEA/LORT contract.
- JOB REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver’s license; ability to lift 50 pounds.
- PRODUCTION SEASON: June 2020 – June 2021.
- SUPERVISOR: Production Manager.
- COMPENSATION: Contracted per show at AEA Minimum of LORT C-2.
- SCHEDULE: Based on production schedule; all dates subject to change.
- ADDITIONAL: Housing not provided.
