The REV Theatre Company seeks a Front of House Intern for its 2022 Season (May – October) including: Catch Me If You Can, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s State Fair, and Ain’t Misbehavin’.
Those encouraged to apply: Self-motivated individuals with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, take direction and have a desire to learn. The Front of House Intern reports to the Front of House Manager.
This is an active position where the intern will learn to: • Welcome patrons, check ticket stubs, operate handheld ticket scanners, handout programs, and usher patrons to seats • Serve as a point of contact for patrons when they arrive • Be responsible for the safety and comfort of patrons before, during and after performances • Ensure that the facility is up to the organization’s standards of cleanliness and adhere to all safety precautions • Provide support to staff members
Key Responsibilities • Provide excellent customer service and care, and resolve patron issues and complaints in accordance with The REV Theatre Company’s policies and procedures. • Have strong written, verbal, and computer skills • Effectively manage multiple tasks under pressure • Work within a team setting and environment • Stay punctual and on schedule. Keep supervisors informed of progress and ask for help when needed. • Maintain excellent communication to facilitate the organization’s continuing functionality • Perform the essential job functions safely, successfully, and consistently with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. • Maintain regular attendance • Be flexible in relation to working hours which will include evenings and weekends • Other duties may arise. These duties will fall strictly within the scope of the internship description •Have own vehicle and valid driver’s license
