DESCRIPTION

Documentary short film about a New York University undergraduate junior who supersedes extraordinary. Aside from his studies in economics, he is an accomplished athlete with two full marathons, various HYROX fitness races, and a 60 mile ultramarathon under his belt. Most recently, he competed in the Ironman World Championships in Nice, France. This documentary will follow the student’s journey in a life of intense fitness while shedding a light on mental health in the collegiate setting. Juggling numerous stressors in multiple areas, he– and the many college students like him– push themselves past the brink of limitation: physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Looking for a cinematography with documentary experience and vision to create the overall look project. Knowledge of/connection to athletics is preferred. Ability in documentary editing is also a strong preference. Compensation in credit and meals; additional pay based on funding from grants and traction from completed project.
