DESCRIPTION

Emerald Coast Theatre Company is looking for an actor who can seamlessly transition between characters while maintaining strong ensemble work in numbers like "NYC," "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here," and "You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile." Must be able to understudy Daddy Warbucks as well.

THE TRACK:

Male Ensemble Member (Man 3) covering: Lt. Ward - The no-nonsense policeman, Hull - One of Warbucks' house men, Fred McCracken - Radio show personality, Wacky - Member of the radio hour ensemble, and otheres, PLUS understudy Oliver Warbucks

REQUIREMENTS:

Male, late 20s-30s (flexible for the right performer)
Strong singer with excellent blend and harmony skills
Character actor with quick-change abilities
Must learn and maintain the Warbucks track
Movement/dance ability a plus
Providing own transportation a plus but not requred

PRODUCTION DETAILS:

First Rehearsal: November 15, 2024

Performance Dates: November 28 - December 21, 2024

Venue: Emerald Coast Theatre Company, Miramar Beach, FL (Northwest Florida)

COMPENSATION:

Competitive weekly stipend
Travel stipend provided

AUDITION VIDEO REQUIREMENTS:

Prepare 32 bars showcasing your vocal range and character versatility. Submit any movement/dance video.

$300.00 – $350.00 per week
