DESCRIPTION

The Shucked National Tour seeks a traveling Assistant Company Manager. The tour is currently booked
through October 2025 with additional dates expected. Rehearsals begin September 2024 and the tour will
play 35 cities over the next year with an anticipated one-week layoff at Christmas. The Company of 42 will
travel by bus or plane as routing allows. The perfect candidate will be an organized and personable
individual with SETA touring experience. Job duties are varied with a strong emphasis of providing a
great touring experience to the traveling company. Salary negotiable, NMAM contract possible. Hotel and
per diem per SETA rules.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Provide support to the Company Manager and traveling company.
-Assist with the planning and execution of travel and housing within union rules.
-Arrange all ground transportation and local rental cars.
-Manage the company Uber/Lyft account.
-Travel with the company on all travel days.
-Manage company communication, including possibly building out an internal company website.
-Prepare City Sheets and advance vital city info with venue representatives.
-Assist with onboarding and other human resource functions.
-Assist with the processing of union benefits and royalty reports.
-Reconcile petty cash receipts as well as company credit card expenditures.
-Manage company accounts and assist departments with purchasing.
-Process invoices for accounts payable.
-Serve as box office liaison; filling and releasing house seat holds according to schedule.
-Attend press events if needed.
-Prepare accident reports and Workers Comp forms; take employees for medical care when needed.
-Assist in the planning of parties and events including meet & greet, opening night, and holiday dinners.
-Support the company’s commitment to creating a safe workspace through our EDI, non-discrimination

Qualifications:
-Prior theatrical company management experience on a SETA tour is a plus, NMAMs welcome
-Hardworking, detail-oriented person who is able to multi-task and work independently.
-Be highly organized.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Sense of humor.
-Conflict resolution experience a plus.
-Be able to function well under pressure in a physically and mentally demanding atmosphere.
-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
-Valid passport and an unblemished record that will allow you entrance into Canada
-Good computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Sheets.
-Current on all vaccinations
