SEEKING:

Margo Channing (late-30s to early 60s) - (Alto) a celebrated, glamorous Broadway star! Margo is witty, commanding, and self-aware, but beneath her confidence lies vulnerability about aging and her place in a youth-obsessed industry. She radiates charisma, but her sharp tongue masks deep insecurities about love, career, and time passing her by.

Eve Harrington (early 20s to early 30s) - (Mezzo-Soprano) a seemingly shy, polite young woman who idolizes Margo. At first, she appears humble, sweet, and starstruck, but underneath she is cunning, ambitious, and manipulative. Eve will do whatever it takes to achieve fame, even if it means betraying those who trusted her.

Bill Sampson (early 30s to 60s) – (Tenor) a successful, good-hearted director, devoted to Margo both professionally and romantically. He is steady, loyal, and grounded—serving as a stabilizing force amid the theatrical chaos around him.

Howard Benedict (early 30s to early 60s) – (Spoken Role, no singing) a powerful Broadway producer. Smooth, calculating, and practical, he prioritizes success and business over loyalty. He recognizes Eve’s ambition and is quick to align himself with the rising star.

Bonnie (early 20s - early 30s) – (Mezzo-Soprano) a brash, fun-loving chorus dancer at the club. She represents the vitality, youth, and appetite for life that Margo both admires and fears losing.

Buzz Richards (early-30s to early 60s) – (Tenor) a witty, somewhat sardonic playwright, married to Karen. He is part of Margo’s inner circle and appreciates both her brilliance and her temper. Buzz provides comic relief with sharp observations about show business.

Karen Richards (early-30s to early 60s) – (Alto) Margo’s close friend and the wife of playwright Buzz Richards. Warm, sophisticated, and well-meaning, Karen tries to balance loyalty to Margo with compassion for Eve, only to find herself caught in the middle of betrayal and rivalry.

Duane Fox (early 20s-early 50s) – (Baritone) Margo’s trusted hairstylist and confidant. Duane is campy, flamboyant, and quick with a quip. Loyal to Margo, he often serves as her sounding board and brings energy and humor to the show.
