Vocal Performance Workshop with Ted Arthur

Date: Sunday, May 17, 2020
Time: 3:30pm – 5:30pm
Instructor: Ted Arthur
Location: This virtual event will take place via Zoom
Level: All Levels
Tuition: $99 for a hot seat; $20 for an audit seat
Capacity: 10 hot seat participants, 86 audit seat participants

There are two ways to participate in this session, and both will have the benefit of learning from accomplished Broadway musician and music director, Ted Arthur. Ted is currently working on Diana: A True Musical Story, was recently the Associate Music Director at The Prom on Broadway, and has also worked on Once On This Island, Mean Girls, Dear Evan Hansen and Wicked.

Hot seat participants will have the opportunity to work directly with Ted for up to 10 minutes on a song cut of their choice, and audit seat participants can observe all of the sessions, and even enter a lottery to win the final hot seat!

Participants will be asked to provide their own tracks – there are lots of accompaniment and karaoke tracks available on YouTube. Cuts should be 16-32 bars or similarly brief.
