for school audiences.)

This is normally a show that is designed to tour
to schools, but this year the students will be
brought to the Laguna Playhouse, in Laguna
Beach, for performances.
The Laguna Playhouse is dedicated to building
an equitable environment that is mixed across
lines of difference and strongly encourages

Color, women, transgender and non-binary

SEEKING:
TRACK #2: to play the following: ULAPEKarana's
fourteen-year-old sister; SEA
ELEPHANT; OCTOPUS; ALEUT (a Native
American Tribe) girl; ALEUT MAN; MAN w/
missionary; BIRD; NARRATOR, AS CAST.
Physically adept at mime with props and able
to run.
TRACK #3: to play the following: CHIEF- The
chief of the people of Ghalas-at, a strong and
confident leader; KIMKI- an old and venerated
member of the tribe; NANKO- a young man of
the tribe; DOLPHINS; MISSIONARY;
NARRATOR, AS CAST. Indigenous, aged 30-
50. Physically adept at mime with props and
able to run
NOTE: Employment will be contingent upon
passing a background check.
PREPARATION
Please prepare 2 contemporary contrasting
monologues no longer than 2 minutes each.
You may be asked to read from the script.
