The upcoming production of Mike Lew’s Teenage Dick at Pasadena Playhouse will now be presented as a streaming option only due to the rising COVID-19 cases around the world, with streaming dates and more details to be announced shortly. The film capture was recorded in Boston during the play’s run at Huntington Theatre Company.

The co-production between Pasadena Playhouse, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, and Huntington Theatre Company was originally planned to be performed February 1-27 on the West Coast. By streaming the piece, producers will still be able to pay the artists and crew hired to work on the project and reach a broader audience. Tony nominee Moritz von Stuelpnagel directs.

A return engagement of Holland Taylor’s Ann (March 22–April 24) and freestyle love supreme (July 12–August 7) are still scheduled as planned, with one more production to be revealed.
