News NYC Barnes and Noble Will Celebrate Leonard Bernstein and Fiddler on the Roof Barnes and Noble will celebrate historical Broadway composers and anniversaries during the month of September.

Bernstein Meets Broadway: Collaborative Art in a Time of War will be presented Sept. 15 at 7 PM. In honor of the new book "Bernstein Meets Broadway," by Carol Oja, the event will feature performances by Phyllis Newman, Billie Allen-Henderson and Jamie Bernstein in conversation with Oja. Essential Voices USA will perform, conducted by Judith Clurman, with Kurt Crowley as pianist.

The 50th Anniversary of Fiddler on the Roof will also be celebrated. Tradition! With Jerry Zaks, Austin Pendelton and Joanna Merlin will be presented Sept. 22 at 7 PM, featuring the new book by Barbara Isenberg: "Tradition! The Highly Improbable, Ultimately Triumphant Broadway-to-Hollywood Story of Fiddler on the Roof, the World's Most Beloved Musical."
