The stage and screen star won Tony Awards for her performances in 42nd Street and Grey Gardens, with additional Broadway performances in Oklahoma!CamelotSteel MagnoliasBlithe Spirit, and, most recently, War Paint.

"Life is always changing," shares Ebersole of the upcoming release, her sixth solo album. "It’s always moving and coming at you in unexpected ways. When the family is growing up, you want everything to stay the same. But there’s a time when the music stops, and the children must go. Everything gets really quiet, and all the balloons that were up in the air come down to the floor. Then you realize how much you want to preserve it all, especially the moments of joy and love. That’s the feeling I get from singing these songs."

The album is produced by Ebersole and Lawrence Yurman, who also accompanies Ebersole and has provided the arrangements. Also featured are Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf on cello, John Benthal on guitar and banjo, and Larry Saltzman on guitar.
