Spring Awakening, Coast of Utopia, Journey's End, Company Are 2007 Tony Winners
10 Jun 2007 -- The Coast of Utopia and Spring Awakening took top prizes — Best Play and Best Musical, respectively — at the 61st Annual 2007 Tony Awards June 10, honoring excellence on the Broadway stage in the 2006-07 season. Tom Stoppard's nine-hour drama won seven Tonys. Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik's show won eight, including Score, Book, Direction and more.
