The Preacher and The Shrink, Starring Dee Hoty, Tom Galantich and Mat Hostetler, Will End Off-Broadway Run Early

Merle Good's The Preacher and The Shrink, which officially opened Nov. 18 following previews that began Nov. 2 at The Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row, will play its last performance Dec. 22 at 3 PM.
Directed by Steven Yuhasz, the production had been scheduled to continue through Jan. 4, 2014.
The cast features three-time Tony nominee Dee Hoty, Tom Galantich, Mat Hostetler, Adria Vitlar and Nicholas Urda.
In The Preacher and The Shrink, press notes state, "a spirited young woman makes a sexual accusation which checkmates her father, a popular and respected pastor. They have been estranged for years by a deep grief. Will she follow through? Will he fight back? Even the psychiatrist (Dee Hoty) who tries to help becomes conflicted when middle age romance develops."
The production has set design by Brian Prather with lighting design by Kirk Bookman, costume design by Carol Sherry and sound design by Patrick Weaver.
Show times are Tuesday at 7 PM, Wednesday-Friday at 8 PM, Saturday at 2 PM and 8 PM and Sunday at 3 PM.
