Playbill.com's series features actors commenting on their recent theatregoing experiences, what productions they're looking forward to and more.

Here, via email, we hear from two-time Tony-nominated singing actress Vivian Reed, who will play the intimate Manhattan nightspot 54 Below May 20 and June 19.

What show recently impressed you?
I loved After Midnight. It took me back to old school. The orchestrations and performances were wonderful, and I love the fact that they have different artists come in from time to time. Definitely a must see!!!

What production are you most excited to see?
I am very much looking forward to seeing Rocky because I loved the movie and Sylvester Stallone, and I want to hear the music. I'm told that this production is worth the ticket price.

What play/musical would you most like to revive on Broadway, and which role would you want to play?
This is easy. Mame and I would like to play the role of Mame because she is a strong, controlling figure, and I wouldn't have to act much....just kidding. This is a great character, and she's funny and it would give me such joy to play her. It's time for them to revive this musical.

What are your current/upcoming projects?
I will be returning to 54 Below on May 20 and June 19, both shows at 9:30 PM. We've had two sold-out shows already, and I am so looking forward to the next two. Also, I'm working on a piece called One For My Baby, of which I showcase three of the songs in my show. OFMB is all Harold Arlen music (need I say more), and it has a strong book. YEAH!!!
